Hello, my name is Rhiannon and I am from the United States! English is my first language and I have a level 5 TEFL teaching certificate from i-to-i TEFL.

I have been teaching English for over 5 years now. I started by tutoring international students at the university in my hometown. I first came to Italy as an au pair and was teaching children through immersion and grammar books. Now I teach private lessons through other online platforms, as well as in person.

I like to use a multi-media approach to teaching so that I can deliver unique lessons catered to each students needs and wants. By using articles, videos, audio and even literature, we can explore many diverse topics! Whether your goals are grammar, written English, reading, conversation, or even if you just want to practice your fluency or accent reduction, I will tailor each lesson to you, the student, with topics that are of interest and relevance to you. This way, you get the most out of our time together.

As an American living in Italy, I know how difficult it can be to learn a new language, especially as an adult. This experience helps me to understand the struggles of learning languages and has made me a better teacher by being able to use techniques that work for me as I continue to learn the Italian language. By working together we can create a perfect lesson plan to make sure you are learning in the best way for you!
